Right now Utsi’s band is geting in shape for the following tour to present the new album “Zone 23”.
In the mean time you can enjoy pictures from the studio, or listen to audio samples here, or order the cd here.
Utsi Zimring band plays modern jazz (mostly original tunes), with some songs utilizing asymmetric grooves.  When doing arrangements, it always started with the melody and harmony. the odd meter was always realized later.  The emphasis is on the melody, not on the meter.

The band combines many different rhythms - from Jazz to Funk and Latin.

Right now, you can see Utsi Zimring band in local jazz clubs in New York, just check bellow...

Utsi and Dave Kikoski, while working on a new song. Utsi & his old friend Mike Stern. Bob Franceschini played few
killing solos on the new record. Utsi is not bad guitar player at all... Ruben Rodriguez , the bass player, joined
the band with the new arrangement of
Softly as in the Morning Sunrise. Dave Kikoski and Utsi are really
excited about a good take :-)
...but he is a hell of drummer ;-)
Neville L’Green while recording.
Guitar player Chad MacLoughlin with
